Bluehost is fine. Not great, not terrible just fine. The WordPress.org recommendation carries weight, and the onboarding experience is genuinely beginner-friendly. But the 150% renewal increase, aggressive checkout upsells, average performance, and paid backup add-on make it hard to recommend when InterServer, Hostinger, and SiteGround exist. You're paying for the brand name more than the product.
